Our studio began creating portraits for families and individuals in 1989.  Today we enjoy using our home based studio for Portraits and Consultations.  We have landscaped our surroundings to create beautiful portraits, and have several locations within the Windsor area for larger portraits that help to tell the story of who you are and the place you call home.

Susan Johnson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Society + Photography in 1991 from Sonoma State University.  She has also taken many courses at Professional Photography schools, such as Golden Gate School of Photography and West Coast School of Photography.  A mom of 2 teenage kids, and an avid equestrian, makes our studio available by appointment only.

We give back to our community!  Susan has taught introductory photography at local elementary schools, as well as through 4-H.  Some of her students have become very prolific and successful with their work, including Best of Show in several local competitions.

Photography is an art form that comes in many sizes and shapes.  We've been honored to received some pretty special awards over the years, including a PPA Loan print.  (One of our photographs was selected to be included in a traveling show, showcasing the best of America's Photographers.  It was even published in a book!) Some more unusual jobs and honors :
